Blue / Bleu

ART

Les images de bleu qui me reviennent naturellement à l’esprit sont celles du Nu Bleu de Matisse (1869-1954) et des monochromes de Klein (1928-1962).

Naturally, blue reminds me of the « Nu bleu » (Naked in blue) by Henri Matisse (1869-1954) and the International Klein Blue invented by the talented artist Yves Klein (1928-1962).

Le Fameux bleu Klein - Paris, 7 Octobre 2006 - Illumination de l’Obélisque, des statues et fontaines de la Place de la Concorde en IKB rendant ainsi hommage au talentueux artiste qui n’eut pas obtenu l’autorisation en son temps pour réaliser ce projet. Les excellentes photographies ont été faites par un bloggeur passionné par la cuisine française. Il a plus de quarante ans et a décidé d’abandonner sa carrière dans l’informatique pour consacrer à sa passion culinaire. Il est actuellement en formation dans une école prestigieuse parisienne. The Famous IKB blue - Paris, October 7, 2006 – Every year, Paris city organised a cultural event for one night, during which many museums and cultural institutions remain open late into the night. It is called « Nuit Blanche » (sleepless night). One of the key moments was the illumination of the Obelisk, the statues and the fountains. This is to pay hommage to the great talent of Yves Klein who imagined this project but could not get the city’s approval. The pictures of excellent quality were taken by a blogger who decided to quit the IT industry to start a new career in culinary at the age of 40.
