Le botaniste Patrick Blanc a beaucoup de succès avec son jardin de murs végétaux. Il a été très remarqué au Festival International des Jardins de Chaumont-sur-Loire en 1994. Depuis, il en a fait d’autres. J’ai pu admirer récemment deux de ses créations : le mur végétal pour le musée ethnologique du Quai Branly à Paris et ses murs végétaux au centre commercial Emporium à Bangkok.

The botanist Patrick Blanc has a lot of success with his Vertical Gardens or Vegetal Walls. In 1994, « Garden with vegetal walls » was remarkable in the International Gardens Festival at Chaumont-sur-Loire, France. One of his latest botanical walls was for the exterior of the Quai Branly Museum which features indigenous art, cultures and civilizations outside of Europe. He also did many creations for other countries. Lately, I saw one of his vegetal walls displayed permanently in the Emporium mall at Bangkok.
